About

Jian Hern Yeoh is a Research Assistant at the National Taiwan University (NTU) E3 Research Center, working under the supervision of Prof. Lisa Hsieh. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree from the Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) division at NTU. His research resides at the intersection of energy systems, logistics, and artificial intelligence, with a specific focus on developing data-driven solutions for urban sustainability.

Jian Hern’s technical portfolio includes Vehicle-to-Building (V2B) strategy optimization modeling, which incorporates electric vehicles as mobile energy storage to enhance grid stability and reduce electricity costs. His recent work, notably on "Synthetic Data-Driven Supervised Learning under Data Scarcity," explores the optimization of smart energy management systems for E-scooter battery-swapping stations. Beyond his core research, he is actively involved in academic-industry collaborations regarding the utilization of real-world logistics data for energy utilization, embodied carbon accounting, and operational emissions. He also plays a key role in fostering international academic synergy, including the coordination of joint seminars and cross-institutional research initiatives.
