Wei-Chun (Jim) Tseng is a Software Engineer at the National Taiwan University (NTU) E3 Research Center, where he specializes in the design, development, and maintenance of information systems and data platforms for energy research. He bridges the gap between energy-economic analysis and practical software solutions, transforming research requirements into scalable data services and integrated systems. With expertise in data engineering, backend API architecture, and Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) workflows, Jim effectively integrates research models with real-time data pipelines to drive the digitalization of interdisciplinary research.
Jim holds a Master’s degree from the Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) division of the Department of Civil Engineering at National Taiwan University. His academic background is rooted in energy and environmental data analysis and systematic implementation, with research findings published in prestigious Q1 international journals. This foundation allows him to seamlessly integrate rigorous engineering training with specialized energy systems research.
Prior to his current role, Jim served in a software engineering capacity at Micron Technology, where he contributed to the development of large-scale data processing systems and enterprise-level applications. His experience encompasses backend service design, data pipeline construction, and system performance optimization within high-stability environments. In his current capacity, he leads the core software architecture for the Ezero AI Smart Energy Management System, ensuring the stable operation and scalability of energy prediction and dispatch modules for real-world deployment and commercialization.
